Welcome to JK Pest Management Services. By engaging our pest control services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms comply with relevant laws, including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and the Health (Pesticides) Regulations 2011 (WA).
1. Services Provided
JK Pest Management provides professional pest control services for residential, commercial, and industrial properties, including but not limited to:
- General pest control for spiders, ants, cockroaches, crickets, snails, and slugs.
- Dusting (powder spray) in roof voids.
- Specialised pest control for restaurants, stores, offices, and warehouses.
Our pest control services are carried out by fully licensed and experienced technicians in compliance with WA Health regulations.
2. Consumer Guarantees
Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to:
- Services carried out with due care, skill, and competence.
- Results that are fit for the purpose you requested.
These guarantees cannot be excluded by any part of these Terms and Conditions.
3. Pricing and Payments
- General pest control for homes starts at $190, while commercial pest control starts at $80 + GST.
- All prices are subject to change without notice unless confirmed at the time of booking.
- Payments are due upon completion of the service unless prior arrangements have been made.
- Late payments may incur interest or administrative fees.
4. Booking and Cancellation Policy
- Bookings can be made by calling 0460 826 129 or emailing jkpest.au@gmail.com.
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment. Late cancellations may incur a fee of up to 50% of the service fee.
5. Client Responsibilities
To ensure effective treatment, clients must:
- Provide access to all areas requiring pest control.
- Inform us of any allergies, sensitivities, or special concerns.
- Follow pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions provided by our technicians.
- Report any pest activity within the warranty period.
6. Safety and Environmental Standards
JK Pest Management adheres to strict safety and environmental guidelines, using only approved pest control products that are safe for humans and pets when used as directed. Clients must follow all technician guidelines to ensure safety during and after treatment.
7. Warranties and Effectiveness
- We offer warranties for specific treatments, as discussed during the service.
- The effectiveness of treatments depends on factors such as property conditions and client adherence to post-treatment advice.
- Severe infestations may require follow-up treatments, which will incur additional costs.
8. Liability
- JK Pest Management is not liable for:
- Existing damage caused by pests before treatment.
- Delays or issues beyond our control, such as weather or access issues.
- Client failure to follow treatment instructions.
- Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided, except where prohibited by the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Privacy Policy
We collect personal information such as names, addresses, and contact details solely for the purpose of providing our services. This information is stored securely and is not shared with third parties without your consent, in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of WA courts.
11. Amendments
JK Pest Management reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated prior to your next service.
